|Description:||The visit is being hosted by Buccleuch Estates Ltd on their Eildon Estate. The woodlands that surround Eildon House are a key part of the famous Scott’s view, one of the most photographed tourist viewpoints in the Scottish Borders. The visit will concentrate on the practicalities and challenges of operating continuous cover forestry in coniferous / broadleaved mixed woodland on a moist, rich site in the Scottish Lowlands.
