|Description:||The 2016 England Field Visit was held on Thursday the 2nd of June 2016 in Norfolk. The morning was spent at Weasenham Estate courtesy of Toby Coke and the afternoon was at Sennowe Park courtesy of Tom Cook with picnic lunch at Sennowe Park. An extract of a case study produced by Scott Wilson has been kindly provided to give some initial insights. A report will be made available in due course.

CCFG have been contacted by a French student seeking a 3 month internship in the UK from September to December 2016. The student is seeking to work on a Pro Silva / CCF project. Please contact Mandy our administrator if you are interested and would like to see the CV.
Pro Silva Ireland held a field visit in Knockrath Forest, County Wicklow. This was a particularly important event in terms of promoting Pro Silva outside of the Pro Silva network since Duncan Stuart and the EcoEye Team recorded some of the days discussions for the EcoEye TV programme which is a very popular TV programme in Ireland. In addition, Donal Magner, Forestry Editor for the Irish Farmers Journal wrote an article about the day which helps promote Pro Silva principles to a new audience.
The 10th IUFRO Conference will be held in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA from Monday 30th May to Thursday 2nd June 2016. Please see the outline programme for more information.

|Description:||The 2015 Wales meeting was held at Ffrwdgrech Estate which has been owned by the Evans family for over 100 years. The day was led by Ian Barrington of Pryor and Rickett Silviculture. Ian took over the management of the Estate from the late Talis Kalnars in 2005 and has continued to apply similar management techniques since then. Reports will be available in due course.

|Description:||The 2015 Scotland meeting was held on Thursday September 24th at Novar Estate.
The day was led by Ronald Munro Ferguson and Cameron Ross and attended by 50 delegates.

One-day seminar meeting arranged by Dr Scott McG. Wilson with the Institute of Chartered Foresters (North Scotland Region) and University of Aberdeen, dealing with the potential of mixtures of Sitka spruce and alternative conifers for resilient upland forestry. Details of the seminar and booking arrangements are available through the Institute of Chartered Foresters website events section. There is no charge for meeting attendance but a buffet lunch will be available for a charge of £6 (payable on the day of the meeting).
