CCFG Event
Date: 04 to 07 September 2017

Location: Denmark – Alborg in north Jutland to Zealand near Copenhagen.

Description: Denmark has a similar forest history to parts of Britain with afforestation programmes in the nineteenth century being followed by a strategy of converting many of the even-aged stands to close-to-nature management. Our trip will take us from Alborg in north Jutland to Zealand near Copenhagen and we will visit both state and private forests and see conifer stands, mixed forests and quality broad-leaved woodland.
